The Colombian Pacific coast is a great ecotourism destination, being one of the most humid regions of the world where the wild, dense jungle meets the ocean. The region between Bahía Solano and Nuquí has been declared a biodiversity hotspot due to its importance on the conservation and abundance of wildlife all year long. The great advantage of Bahía Solano over Nuqui is to be really close to Utria National Park and has easier flight connections.
Bahía Solano is a destination to visit anytime of the year and this tour is designed to live it comfortably. From November to March the jungle is perfect for exploring the continental wildlife; from April to May you can enjoy the ocean sardines’ migration that attracts major fish species, dolphins and the magnificent whale shark; from June to February you can attend turtle liberations; or from July to October you can live the most famous event here: the humpback whale migration.
