Tour Details

This is activity takes place in one of the surrounding mountains of Medellín, where will be possible to find native rainforest above 2.200 m.a.s.l. in a protected reserve of the metropolitan Medellin valley. It is possible to observe around 40 different bird species such as the Red-bellied Grackle, the Colombian Chachalaca among other colorful species.

The tour starts at 6:30 AM with about 3 kms hike up and the same distance hiking back through a paved road in order to end about 11:00 AM. In this experience you can get to know a bit more about local birds and wildlife in a beautiful, well preserved zone very close to the city.
