The “Lost City” is a sacred temple, a land of spiritual enchanment ancestrally inhabited by indigenous communities. Nowadays there are community processes with the indigenous people living in the area, being an space to explore, contemplate and enjoy.
In this destination, the wisdom of our indigenous ancestors is supremely important, where tourism has allowed to keep its archaeological ruins intact and has generated the opportunity to preserve the environment in peace and harmony in this, the most famous archaeological site in Colombia, which is even older than Macchu Picchu.

(07:30) – Pick up in Santa Marta in private 4×4 vehicles, then we will head up north to the sector of “El Mamey”, where after a briefing of all the trek, you will have lunch. Afterwards you will start a hike of 7.6 Kms to “La Cabaña de Adán” passing by several wells and natural freshwater pools from the “Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta” ending the day by resting in beds or hammocks (depending on the availability) and having dinner in “La Cabaña de Adán”.
(06:00) – Breakfast and subsequently start of the trek of the day (15 Kms in total) where you will first pass by the Wiwa indigenous community camp and then you will have lunch. After that you will have a trek bordering “Mutanyi”, which is an indigenous Kogui village in order to continue the trek to get that afternoon to “Paraíso Teyuna” camp where you will have dinner and will rest in beds or hammocks (depending on the availability).
(06:00) – Breakfast and subsequently start of the trek to the “Ciudad Teyuna” (Lost City) where you will ascent 1200 steps that lead to the terraces of the our main destination. On the way up you will have the chance to visit “El Pozo de la Juventud” and then arrive to one of the most important archeological places of Colombia: “The Lost City” where you will have a time to enjoy the place and have lunch. After that you will head to the third station: “La cabaña Wiwa” where youwhere you will have dinner and an opportunity to talk with some indigenous people about their cosmovision and ancestral knowledge and then you will rest in beds or hammocks (depending on the availability).
(06:00) – Breakfast and then a hike to some spots full of rivers, waterfalls and pools that are born in the Sierra Nevada in order to get to the starting point of the experience: “El Mamey”, where you will have lunch and afterwards you will be transfered in private vehicles to Santa Marta where you will be lefst in the place that you indicate us within the city.
