SILVIA (10 hours)

Silvia is a town in the north of Cauca department inhabited mainly by Guambiano (Misak) indigenous ethnicity descendants, who still maintain most of their traditional ways of life. This town is famous for its market, which on Tuesdays is very active and gets very visited by all the rural communities that trade their products wearing their traditional dresses.

In this tour you will have a contact with the Guambiano (Misak) culture, where we will take you to the botanical garden and local market (highly recommended on Tuesdays), after that you will have lunch. In this experience you will interact with the Misak, that will show you the use of medicinal herbs, also meeting a spiritual leader that will talk you about their cosmovision, having the chance to practice their rituals and ending with a traditional dance display of the indigenous.
