Casanare is located in the “Orinoquia” region of Colombia, in the eastern flatlands of our country. A region where several natural private reserves are stablished in which is possible to observe an important fauna diversity and we can also experience and enjoy different activities with locals at the best “llanero” (Cowboy) style.
This is a land of unique sunsets, cowboys, myths, legends and incredible fauna specially with hundreds of bird species, reptiles such as the “Llanero” alligator, felines like the jaguar, the puma and endemic species of southamerica such as the particular “Chiguiro” (Capybara).
➡ Option of renting a private personal room (from 40.000 pesos extra per night per person depending of the room chosen).
➡ Option of doing a horse-back riding activity (for an extra-cost of 30.000 pesos per hour).
➡ Option of flight transportation of 1 or 2 ways with EASYFLY or AVIANCA AIRLINES in the Route Bogotá – Yopal for a price between 100.000 – 350.000 pesos per way (depending on the anticipation and date to be reserved)*.

(08:00) – For those who hire 4×4 transportation will be welcomed in Yopal by our drivers at your hotel, airport or any point of the city.
OPTION B (09:30) – For those traveling in his own car you will be welcomed in the town of Trinidad (1:30 hrs south of Yopal). Once you meet the local team you be taken to your accommodation and then to “Hato Berlín”, a natural reserve in rural area of Trinidad, where you will do a Safari-like trek in the reserve, then you will have lunch. In the afternoon you will do horse-back riding looking for fauna of this unique ecosystem, ending the day enjoying the sunset and getting back at night to the accommodation where you will enjoy your dinner.
(07:00) Breakfast and after that we will head towards the ranch & museum: “Gran Llanerazo” where you will be welcomed by local cowboy family, they will show us their archeological museum and we will have lunch with them. In the afternoon we will have a cowboy experience with them where they will show us the typical “llanero” life. Afterwards we will also do a hike through the ranch in order to see wildlife, then you will get back to the accommodation where you will have dinner there and a night with locals.
(07:00) Breakfast and after that transportation in 4×4 towards ”Hato Mata de Palma” natural reserve, where will be possible to appreciate amazing fauna in the area with local experts, starting with herds of capybaras and many other species common in the area. Then we will head to the house of the ranch in order to have lunch and talk with the locals in the “hato” (big ranch). In the afternoon we will be taken to the flooded Savannah’s of Altamira reserve Safari style in tractors or in off the road cars depending on the size of the group, in this part of the trip we will appreciate fauna deeper in a really untouched place where thousands of birds, mammals, reptiles among other species live. We will end the day again by appreciating a magical sunset typical in this region. Our services will end by 6:00 PM in Trinidad or if you hired the vehicle, you will be taken back to Yopal.
