Chingaza National Park is located less than 50 kms away from the financial center of Bogotá. It provides drinkable water for more than 10 million people of Bogotá and surrounding towns. In this 1-day experience you will hike at some of the highest Andean Colombian mountains through the Páramo (moor) ecosystem, that offers particular landscapes only found in few countries, which is surrounded by special flora such as the Frailejones among other endemic species.

(06:00) – Departure from the agreed point in private vehicles, then you will have breakfast in La Calera town before heading to the town of Guasca. Once there, the vehicle will drop you off in a point where you will take and 4×4 car that will take you to a point where you will start the 4.5 kms hike that will lead you to the Siecha lagoons, where you will have lunch and will have some time to enjoy the landscapes. In the afternoon you will start the journey back to Bogotá, starting by the 4.5 kms hike and the car transportation that will drop you off at any point in Bogotá.
